AND WHICH ORDINANCE WAS ADC FT JULY 24TH, 1929.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ord,,.;�in as follows :
Section One: Two new sections be and they are hereby added to
said Ordinance 110. 719, entitled Section 3A and 3B respectively, and
to read as follows :
Section 3A. Regulatin- the stora-e of corrosive, toxic or poisonous
chemicals, which may or may
not constitute a fire hazard, but which will liberate dangerously poisonous
fumes when subjected to heat or flame. The foregoing chemical compounds
must be stored in one of the following ways :
1. isolated stora,,-e in a secure building, located in such a manner
that there are no places of habitation within a radius of one quarter of a
mile.
2. A separate masonry building located not less than twenty-five
feet ( 25t ) from any other building, upon same or adjacent property, and
such building to be used for the exclusive storage of poisonous chemicals
only inorder to minimize the need for entry.
3 . An isolated section or corner of an existing�- building, such
section to be constructed of not less than four hour fire resistive
material and the entry and ,ventilation for such separate section or
corner shall be from the ouside and the door shall be kept locked
when tho premises are unattended.
Section 3B. Signs" to designate location of such storage. Legi�le
warning signs stating the nature of the stored hazard shall be placed
at all entrances to locations where poisonous,to.xicor corrosive chemicals
are stored or being used.
Section Two: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect

Section Three : The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
passage
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a daily newspaper hereby designated for that purpose.
