AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 10.12 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PARKING VIOLATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 10.12.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:.
"10.12.010 Payment of Violation—Time and Amount. The following penalties are
hereby established for the listed violations:
A. If paid within twenty-one(2 1) days:
VIOLATION FINE
Handicapped Zone $375
Blocking Handicapped Parking 375
Parking on Crosshatched Area in Handicapped Zone 375
Sidewalk Access Ramp 275
Fire Lane 80
15 ft of Hydrant 80
Commercial Vehicle over 5 ton— Residential District 260
Commercial Vehicle over 5 ton— Commercial District 260
Overtime Parking 35
Unregistered Vehicle 135*
Missing License Plate/ Registration Tabs 80*
Parking on Sidewalk 35
Blocking Driveway 35
Blocking Crosswalk 35
Red Zone 35

B. 1f not paid within twenty-one (2 1) days:
The penalty listed in subsection "A"of this Section, plus S 35.00."
SECTION 2. Section 10.12.020 of the Redlands Municipal code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"10.12.020 Violation— Penalty.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this Title or disobeying any signs or
marking installed pursuant thereto shall be guilty of an infraction and punishable in accordance
with Section 42001 of the Vehicle Code, and as that section may be amended."
SECTION 3. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this
ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law.
