AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER
10.12 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PENALTIES
FOR TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section. 1. Section 10.12.010 of the Redlands Municipal Cade, entitled"Payment of
Violation, Time and Amount," is hereby amended to read as follows.
"10.12.010: PAYMENT OF VIOLATION; TIME AND AMOUNT:
The following penalties are hereby established for the listed violations:
A. If paid within twenty one (2 1) days:

B. If not paid within twenty-one (21)days; The penalty listed in subsection A of this section,
plus thirty five dollars($35.00)."
Section 2. Should any provision of this Ordinance, or its application to any person or
circumstance,be determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, unenforceable
or otherwise void.,that determination shall have no effect on any other provision of this
Ordinance or the application of this Ordinance to any other person or circumstance and,to that
end,the provisions hereof are severable..
Section 3. The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause it,or a summary of it,to be published once in the
Redlands Daily pacts,a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter,this
ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law.
