AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 110. 932 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE
PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLI3141,11ENT OF PARKING METER ZONES AND THE
REGULATING, CONTROLLING AND PROVIDING FOR THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
THEREIN BY THE USE OF PARKING METERS: PRESCRIBING LIMITS OF TIME;
FOR PARKING IN PARKING METER ZONES: AND PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCE1vTNT
OF THE ORDINANCE AND PUNISHITENT FOR ITS VIOLATION:
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows:
Section One: Ordinance No. 932 of the City of Redlands is hereby
amended by amending Section Eight ( c) thereof to read as follows:
Any operator or owner of a vehicle to whom a citation has been
issued , may within twenty-four ( 24) hours of the time of the issuance
of such citation, pay to the Police Department of the City of Redlands
at the hall of Justice, Fifth Street , Redlands -1
Caliornia, in full
satisfaction of such violation the sum of FIFH ( 500- -) Cents . Said
pAyment may be made in person or by mailin,, said sum to said Police
Department , Hall of Justice , Redlands California , within said period
of twenty-four (24) hours. The failure of such owner or operator to
make such payment within twenty-four ( 211.) hours , shall render such
owner or operator subject to the penalty hereinafter provided for the
violation of the provisions of this ordinance.
Section Two: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published
in the City of Redlands.
Section: Three: This ordinance shall take effect immediately and
be in full force upon pasaage and approval thereof, under the police
and safety powers of the City of Redlands , and to promote the same
in this city , and, the same is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance to take immediate effect upon its passage and publication.
