The City Council of .the GiLy oT Liedlands• does ordain as
follows:
Section One: Ordinances iWo's 932 entified "'n Ordinance of the
City of Redlands, California, providing for the Establishment of
Parking t6eter Zones and the regulating, Controlling and Providing
for the Inspection of the Time Parking of Vehicles 'Therein by the
Use of Parking deters: Prescribing Limits of Time for Parking in
narking Deter Loves: And Providing for-the Enforcements of the
Ordinance and Punishment for its •'Violation," S8 hereby. amender .1y

Section Ten A: That thers..i.s hereby created a MulciPal
Parking Lot, in the area described as Lots 16 and 17 Of.%

orange Grove Addition in the City of aedlands, County-of San f
k3ernardino, California, -under this Ordinance No, 932, with all a "
penalty provisions applicable thereto, and in accordance with the .
following provisions:
(a) Parking Maters shall be installed an said parking lot
immediately adjacent to the individual parking space hereinafter
described, tinct each parking meter shall be so constructed �:nd
adjusted as to sYiow :;he;, pxoaerl r rJ. ..r.7J that the
space adjacent to which it is installed is or is not legally in use.
(b) That the City Superintendent of Streets shall have the
lines and markings painted upon the parking lot surface adjacent to
each par.-ing meter, designating the parking spade for which said
meter is to be used, and each vehicle parked adjacent to any park-
ing meter skull park within such line or wArklhg and any other

parking including the lanes for traffic shall be unlaWful.

(c) Panting meters when installed and properly operated sUall
be adjusted as to show legal parking during a period of two (2)
hours after the deposit therein of one United States five cent (5¢)
coin, and during a period of ten (10) hours after deposit therein
