AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
1570 ESTABLISHING A PARKING AND BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA, FIXING
THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF, AND FIXING THE INITIAL RATE OF INCREASE
OR ADDITIONAL LEVY OF THE LICENSE TAX TO BE IMPOSED ON THE
BUSINESSES IN SUCH AREA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS HEREBY ORDAINS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That Ordinance No . 1570 , Section Nine, Rate of
Increase or Additional Levy of License Tax be amended according to
the following rate schedule:
Classification Rate
Retail Businesses Two and one-half times business license
Professionals One-fourth times business license
Financial Institutions Voluntary contributions
Public Utility One-half times business license
(for the purposes of this ordinance, public
utilities shall be considered as profes-
sionals, with their additional levy computed
according to the business license formula
used by the City Treasurer for the profes-
sional classification. )
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published
in this city.

at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of February,
1978, by the following vote :
