HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2225_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 2225 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 2.22 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE ADVISORY BOARD FOR THE DOWNTOWN PARKING AND BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows: Section 1. Section 2.22.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "There is an Advisory Board for the downtown parking and business improvement area." Section 2, Section 2.22.020 of the Redlands Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "The Board shall consist of nine members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council from businesses located within the parking and business improvement area. Each member shall serve for a staggered four-year term and until his or her successor is appointed and qualified. Terms shall coincide with the July 1st through June 30th fiscal year. No person shall serve more than two consecutive terms. Vacancies on the Board shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council for the unexpired portion of the term. The members of the Board shall serve without compensation. The Council may remove any member of the Board at any time, without cause, by a majority vote. Five members shall constitute a quorum."
