AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING A PARKING AND BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
ADVISORY BOARD AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1570
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains as
follows :
SECTION ONE: That Section Ten of Ordinance No . 1570 be amended
to read as follows :
SECTION TEN: Area Constituted and Established . The
"Redlands Parking and Business Improvement Area B is hereby
established.
A. A Business Improvement District Advisory Board is
hereby established.
1 . The Business Improvement District Advisory Board
shall consist of seven (7) members to be appointed
by the City Council from businesses located within
the Parking and Business Improvement Area . Each
member shall serve for a term of three years , but
may not serve more than two consecutive terms .
2 . Vacancies on the Board shall be filled by appoint-
ment by the City Council for the unexpired term.
3 . This Board shall have the powers and duties to :
a. Act in an advisory capacity to the City Council
in all matters pertaining to the administration ,
operation , development , improvement, and
maintenance of the Parking and Business Improve-
ment Area.
b. Administer the daily affairs of the Area in
accordance with Ordinance No . 1570 , City
Council direction, and the annual budget
approved by the City Council .
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in
this City.

certify that the foregoing ordinance was duly adopted by the City
Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of
March, 1984 , by the following vote :
AYES: Councilmembers Johnson, DeMirjyn, Martinez , Larsen;
Mayor Beswick
