The City Council of the City of
Redlands does ordain as follows:
SCTION 1. That an amendment to
the Ccn't:'tct providing for tiie par-
ticipation of the City of Redlands in
the State Employee;:' Retirement Sy -
tem, is hereby authorized between
the Cit; Couacil of the City or Fed-
lands aw! the Board of Administra-
tion, California State Employees' He-
ti
rement System, a copy of said
amendment being nttacned hereto,
marked `-Exhibit A," and by such re-
rerenae made a pert 1 rein as though
herein set out in full.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City
of I?•-diands is hereby authorised, em-
powered, and directed to execute said
amendment for and on behalf of said
Agenay,
SECTION $. This Ordinance shall
take e_fect thirty days after the date
of Ist adoption. and prior to the ex-
plrntion of fifteen days from the pas-
sage thereof shall be pciblislaed at
least once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circula-
t on, publishtd and circular ed in the
City of Redlands, and thenceforth and
thefeafter the name shall be in Poll
force and effect.
