The CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF REDLANDS

does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That an amendment to the Contract between the

COUNCIL of CITY OF REDLANDS and the Board of
Governing Body Name of Public Agency
Administration, California Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby author-
ized, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A," and by
such reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full.
SECTION 2. The mayor- ,

of the CITY OF REDLANDS is hereby authorized, empowered, and

directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of said Agency.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of
its adoption, and prior to the expiration of 15 days from the passage thereof
shall be published at least once in the Redlands Dail F acts ,

The Board of Administration, ?ublic Employees , Retirement System, hereinafter
referred to as Board, and the CITY COMIL of the CITY OF 'hereinafter re-
ferred to as Oublic Agency, having entered into a contract under date of June 1,
105, eVective duly 1, 1945, and as amended effective January 1, 1953, August 1,
1956, Narch 1, 1957, January 1, 1960, and August 1, 1961, which orovides for the
narticioation of Public Agency in said System, Board and Public Agency hereby agree
is follows:
A. The words "N7o Additional Exclusions" appearing in Paragraph 3 shall
be stricken from said Contract and the following words shall be sub-
stituted therefor:
