AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 18.60 OF
THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO DENSITY OF
DEVELOPMENT IN THE R-3 ZONING DISTRICT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 18.60.100 of the Redlands Municipal Code, entitled "Density of
Development," is hereby amended to read as follows:
18.92.040: PERMITTED USES:
"18.60.100 Density of Development: Population density in the R-3 zone is one
thousand four hundred fifty (1450) square feet of lot area per dwelling unit."
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are severable, and if any sentence, section or
other part of this ordinance should be found to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the
remaining provisions, and the remaining provisions shall continue in ftdl force and effect.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby determines that the adoption
of this ordinance is exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act
("CEQA") pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).
Section 4. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it, or a summary of it, to be published one in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this ordinance
shall take effect in accordance with law.
