AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 845 OF THE
REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE RELATING TO SIGNS
(RECODIFICATION PROJECT)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does
ordain:
SECTION 1 : Section 84502 of Article 845 of the
Redlands Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as
follows :
"SCOPE. Where a provision of any
other ordinance of the City of
Redlands is inconsistent with any of
the provisions hereof, this
ordinance shall control and
supercede such inconsistent
provision. In each instance and
under the same conditions in which
this Article permits any sign, a
sign containing an idealogical,
political or other non-commercial
message of the same dimensions and
characteristics shall be permitted . "
SECTION 2: Section 84508. 8 of Article 845 of the
Redlands Ordinance Code is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : Section 84512 . 2 of Article 845 of the
Redlands Ordinance Code is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4 : Section 84512 .8 of Article 845 of the
Redlands Ordinance Code is hereby repealed.
SECTION 5 : This Ordinance shall be in force and
take effect as provided by law.
SECTION 6: The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause it or a summary of it
to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a
newspaper of general circulation printed and published in
this Cit} .

4th day of March , 1986 , by the following vote :

ORDINANCE NO. 1914
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 56. 00 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 1000 PERTAINING TO ZONING
VIOLATIONS (RECODIFICATION PROJECT)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain :
SECTION ONE: Section 56. 00 of Ordinance No. 1000 of the
City of Redlands, the Zoning Ordinance, is amended to
provide as follows :
SECTION 56.00 : PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION
No person shall violate any of the
provisions, or fail to comply with any of
the requirements of this Ordinance. Any
person, firm or corporation violating any
of the provisions or failing to comply
with the requirements of this Ordinance
is guilty of an infraction; provided,
however, that any person, firm or
corporation who violates any of the
provisions or fails to comply with any of
the requirements of this Ordinance and
has previously been convicted two or more
times during any continuous twelve ( 12)
month period for any crime made punish-
able by this Ordinance shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor . Such person, firm or
corporation shall be deemed guilty of a
separate offense for each and every day
during any portion of which any violation
of this Ordinance is committed or
continued by such person, firm or
corporation, and shall be punishable as
herein provided.
SECTION TWO: Ordinance No. 1692 of the City of Redlands
is hereby repealed.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in force and
take effect as provided by law.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause it or a summary of it
to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper
of general circulation printed and published in this City.
