AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
RELATING TO THE RESERVATION OF SEATING
SPACE AT THE REDLANDS BOWL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION l : Section 72304 is hereby added to the
Redlands Ordinance Code, to read as follows:
"72304 . RESERVATION OF SEATING SPACE AT
REDLANDS BOWL. It shall be unlawful for
any person or persons to reserve or to
attempt to reserve during the absence of
such person or persons any seating space
at the Redlands Bowl in Smiley Park by
placing any object or objects, including
blankets, seat cushions and articles of
clothing, in or upon such seating space.
This Section shall not apply to the
"saving" or "holding" of any seating
space by any person or persons for one or
more other persons while any entertain-
ment presentation is in progress. "
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in force and
take effect as provided by law.
SECTION 3: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and
the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and shall cause it or a summary of it to be
published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in this City.

I, Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby
certify that the foregoing ordinance was duly adopted by the
City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th
day of May, 1986 , by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers DeMirjyn, Johnson, Wormser;
Mayor Beswick
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Larsen
