A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO REVIEW AND
EXECUTE PLAN DOCUMENTS IN SUPPORT OF THE ADMINISTRATION
OF THE CITY'S DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the City has established a deferred compensation plan with Nationwide
Financial Services ("Plan") for its employees which enables the City to provide reasonable
retirement secunty for its employees and which helps attract and retain competent personnel, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, from time to time, must modify its Plan with Nationwide
Financial Services to conform with changes in law, negotiated Memorandums of Understanding
with the City's employee bargaining units, and in other instances, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to facilitate timely modifications of the Plan by
authorizing the City Manager, or his or her designee, to execute Plan documents when the need
arises,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows
Section 1 The City Council of the City of Redlands authonzes the City Manager, or
his or her designee, to execute any and all documents necessary to support the administration of
the City's deferred compensation plan
