A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND AND/OR TERMINATE
TENANT LEASE AGREEMENTS AFTER THE CITY'S ACQUISITION OF,
AND FOR, THE REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 300 E STATE STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is presently under contract to acquire fee title to the
occupied buildings and that certain real property located at 300 E State Street (together, the
"Property"), and
WHEREAS, the close of escrow is scheduled to occur on September 30, 2021, after which
date the City will be the sole owner of the Property and will have been assigned and assumed all
leases associated with the occupied buildings on the Property, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is aware that some of the present tenants of the Property may
wish to amend and /or terminate their respective leases subsequent to the City's acquisition of the
Property and, to increase efficiency and expedite the processing of such amendments and/or
terminations, the City Council desires to delegate the authority for the approval of the same to the
City Manager,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby authorizes the City Manager,
or his or her designee, to amend and/or terminate existing tenant lease agreements for the real
property located at 300 E State Street
