AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING A REVISED LAND USE ZONING
MAP
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning designation for approximately 1.15 acres of property
designated as Assessor's Parcel No. 0171-171-17 located on the north side of State
Street, between Texas and New York Streets, is hereby changed from R-2 (Multiple-
Family Residential District) to AP (Administrative and Professional Office) on the City's
Land Use Zoning Map as more particularly shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit
64A."
Section 2. In accordance with Government Code Section 65863, the City Council
of the City of Redlands hereby finds that the reduction of the residential density for the
parcel affected by this zone change is consistent with the City's General Plan and that the
existing residential sites identified in the City's General Plan housing element are
adequate to accommodate the City's share of its regional housing needs pursuant to
Government Code Section 65584 because the parcel affected by this zone change was not
included within the General Plan housing element's multi-family residential inventory
calculations.
Section 3. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once
in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and
thereafter, this ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law.
