The City Council of the City of Redlands dooa ordain as follows: S' CTIO t ONE: Section 2 (c) of Ordinance 1 o. 1021 is ho reby Winded to read as follows: "To adopt a sales and use tax ordinance which imposes a nine-tenths of one per cent (9/10 of l':) tax and provides a neasure therefor that can be administered and collected by the State Board of F ual.ization in a manner that adapts itself as fully as practical to, and requires the least possible deviation frem, the existing statutory and administrative pro- cedures followed by the State board of Hcualizat on in administering and collecting the California State Sales and Use Taxes.,, S CT1W TWO: Section 4 (a) (1) of Ordinance No. 1021 iz hereby amended to read as followst "For the privilege os selling tangible ,personal property at retail a tax is he ,ebp imposed upon all rettilerz in the city, at the rate of nine- tenths of one per cent (9/10 of 1%) of the gross receipts of the retailer frog: the sale of all tangible personal property sold at retail in the City of Redlands on and after the operative date of this ordnance." ::_ 11UN TIWE' .: Sect Lon 5 (a) of Orcdina ce No. 10'21 is hereby amended to read as fol—lows- "An ol?ows:"fir► excise taut is hereby imposed on the storage, use or other cor.mmption in the City of Redlanis of t�tgible Fersonarl property purchased from any ret.-dler on or after tete operative date of tUs ordin,-unce, for storage, use or other eonsu:,:ption in the city at the rate of :nine-tenths of one per cent (9/1- of 1;�) of the sales price of the property.
