HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1965_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 1965 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADDING ARTICLE 838 AND SECTION 83801 TO THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE TO LIMIT THE DISCHARGE OF SEPTAGE ORIGINATING OUTSIDE THE CITY ' S ZONE OF INFLUENCE AND AMENDING ARTICLE 144 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE TO CHANGE THE PERCENTAGE OF COST RECOVERED FOR SEPTIC TANK DUMPING. The City Council of the City of Redlands does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION ONE; Article 838, Requirements and Regulations, is hereby added to the Redlands Ordinance Code and shall read as follows: ARTICLE 838 REQUIREMENTS AND REGULATIONS Sec . 83801 SEPTAGE LOADS ORIGINATING OUTSIDE THE CITY ' S ZONE OF INFLUENCE Septic tanks loads originating outside the City 's Zone of Influence shall not be discharged into the Wastewater Treatment Plant or collection system. SECTION TWO: Section 14404, Service Charges, line S-84, Septic Tank Dumping, of the Redlands Ordinance Code is amended to read as follows : Sec. 14404 SERVICE CHARGE Line S-84 - Septic Tank Dumping : Percentage of costs reasonably borne to be recovered - 100% Review Schedule - Annual SECTIO THREE: EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION FOUR: CERTIFICATION The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation and published in this City.
