AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS. CALIFORNIA, AMEND-
ING ORDINANCE No. 965, ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR
THE CONNECTION TO AND EXTEN-
SION OF THE CITY SEWER SYS-
TEM,"
The City Council of the City of Red-
tands does ordain as follows:
Section 1:
THAT Section 4, Paragraph D, Sub-
paragraph 2, be amended by adding
thereto: "The minimum charge for such
a connection shall be One Hundred Dol-
lars ($100.00)."
THAT Section 4, Paragraph D, Sub-
paragraph 3, is hereby changed to Sub-
paragraph 4 and the following is hereby
made Subparagraph 3 of Paragraph D
of said Section 4; to-wit:
"Where a lot or property has an inter-
connected system of sewers available
along two or more sides of the property
and the property can be served by more
than one of these sewers; that the prop-
erty owner shall pay his share of the
cost of the sewer constructed at the
earliest date, according to his front foot
benefit as determined by the City En-
gineer, regardless of which of the sewers
to which his property may be connected.
and he shall pay such amount before
connecting to any sewer.'
Section 2:
THAT this ordinance shall he in force
and take effect as provided by law.
Section 3:
The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this ordinance and shall cause
the same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a daily newspaper
hereby designated for that purpose.
