AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING
SECTION 84507 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE TO EXEMPT CERTAIN
CRIME PREVENTION SIGNS FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THE SIGN CODE AND
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1770
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain as
follows :
SECTION ONE: That Ordinance No. 1770 be amended by the
addition of Subsection 7 to Section 84507 to read as follows:
§ 84507 . EXEMPTED SIGNS . The following signs
and devices shall not be subject to the provisions of this
sign code:
7 . Signs not to exceed six (6) feet in height and
three (3) square feet in total face area placed
by the City of Redlands for crime prevention
purposes.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in this city.

I, Peggy A. Moseley, City Clerk, City of Redlands, hereby certify
that the foregoing ordinance was duly adopted by the City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day of January,
1982, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Gorman, Martinez, Riordan, Roth; Payor
Del irjyn
