AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1342 REGULATING SIGNS AND ADVER-
TISING STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the introductory paragraph of SECTION X shall
be and is changed to read as follows:
"SECTION X - APPLICABILITY TO EXISTING SIGNS OTHER THAN
GENERAL OR BILLBOARD ADVERTISING SIGNS :
Any sign or advertising structure existing and maintained at
the time this Code is adopted may be so continued and main-
tained so long as there is no change in the person licensed
to operate the business . When the person changes all such
signs shall be brought into full compliance with this Code
prior to the expiration of one hundred eighty (180) days
subsequent to the date upon which the business license takes
effect. This Section shall not apply to the following: "
SECTION 790: That all other ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in
the Redlands Daily Facts , a daily newspaper hereby designated
for that purpose.

at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of
November, 1968, by the following vote:
