AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING A SECTION
OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE REGULATING SIGNS AND
ADVERTISING STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: Section 84511 of Article 845 of Chapter 84 of the
Redlands Ordinance Code is hereby amended by the addition of paragraphs
2b (6) and 2c ( 5) , which are identical and read as follows:
84511. SIGNS AUTHORIZED IN CERTAIN ZONES
An additional sign shall be permitted on the side of a
building adjacent to or facing a public circulation area
even though there is no entrance/exit to the area. The
sign shall be limited to a maximum size of twenty-four
( 24) square feet. The text shall be limited to the name
or principal product of the business . The sign shall not
be placed for the purpose of being seen over adjacent
buildings or sign structures . The sign shall not project
above the roof line and it shall be parallel to the side
of the building upon which it is placed.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by 1 aw.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the
City of Redlands .
