AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1342
REGULATING SIGNS AND ADVERTISING STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AND AMENDING ARTICLE 845 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE ACCORDINGLY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS :
SECTION ONE: Paragraph 1 of Section XII of Ordinance No. 1342
and Section 84511, Article 845 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, are
amended to read as follows :
1. SIGNS IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES
a. All residential zones
(1) For sale, lease or exchange signs, not to exceed
three (3) square feet in area and not to exceed
two (2) signs per lot shall be permitted. The
text of the signs shall be limited to the owner ' s
or agent' s name and the owner ' s or agent' s
address and telephone number. The signs shall
not contain symbols, edge decorations, insignia
or other embellishments. Signs shall not be
lighted.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a daily newspaper hereby designated for that
purpose.

at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of November,
1975 by the following vote:
