AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING THE REDLANDS
MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO FREE STANDING SIGNS
ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT NO. 231
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does-ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: That Section 15.36.450(G)(3)(a) of the Redlands Municipal Code be
amended to read as follows:
"(a) A maximum of one freestanding sign per parcel or unified complex shall be
permitted. Unified complexes with more than one 'major tenant' shall be permitted
additional freestanding signage not to exceed the total number of major tenants within
the complex. 'Major tenants' shall be defined as a tenant with an excess of 50,000
square feet in gross floor area."
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law.
SECTION THREE; The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and
shall cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the City of Redlands.
