AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING SECTIONS 13 . 68. 020 AND 3 . 16. 040
OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO SOLID WASTE COLLECTION FEES AND CHARGES
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain:
Section 1 . Section 13 . 68 . 020 of the Redlands Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows :
"13 . 68. 020 Authority to Fix Charges
and Rules .
Monthly charges and rules and
regulations for disposal service
and collection, including non-
residential collection, shall be
fixed from time-to-time by
ordinance of the City Council .
Monthly charges established by
ordinance of the City Council
shall be a civil debt owing to
the City by the owner and any
occupant or user of the premises
receiving service. "
Section 2 . Section 13 . 68. 025 is hereby added to the
Redlands Municipal Code to read:
"13 . 68. 025 Rates and Charges .
Rates and charges for solid
waste collection services shall
be in the amounts set forth in
Table 13 . 68 . 025 of this Chapter . "
Section 3 . The rates and charges for solid waste
collection services as set forth in Table 13 . 68. 025 , attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference,
are hereby adopted.
Section 4 . Table 3 . 16 . 040 of the Redlands Municipal
Code is hereby amended as follows :

Section 5 . Resolution No. 3901 establishing a schedule
of rates to be charged by the disposal department is hereby
rescinded.
Section 6 . This ordinance shall be in force and shall
take effect as provided for by law.

Section 7 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance and cause it , or a summary of it , to be
published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the City.

MULTIPLE FAMILY (PER UNIT) $ 13 . 50 bi-monthly
HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION $ . 32 unit/bi-monthly

(Includes roll-offs, bins, & collected in billing period.

Commercial Notes:
1. Compacted refuse to be charged three times the regular landfill
disposal rate.
2. Appropriate bin rental (bi-monthly) to be charged:
1 yard = $13 . 13 ; 2 & 3 yard = $15.44 ; and 4 yard = $18 . 13
3 . Steam cleaning of bin = $37 . 50, as determined by Redlands staff.
4 . Commercial can rate based upon equivalent cubic yards with
$29 . 69 as minimum rate.
Other Notes•
1. Multiple units to pay rental based upon 60/90 gallon containers
or by size of bins.
2 . Special hauls - $46. 88 per hour per worker.
3 . Appliance pick-up = $9. 38 for first item; $6. 25 for each
additional.
