ORDINANCE NO. 1750
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ADOPTING SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 23
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has pre-
pared a Specific Plan and adopted such Plan in R.P.C. Resolution No.
543 after holding a public hearing upon such notice in accordance with
the Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, R.P.C. Resolution No . 543, a copy of which is attached
hereto, has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands;
and
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of May, 1981, a notice of Public Hearing
was published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and
WHEREAS, on this 19th day of May, 1981, the City Council has held
a duly advertised public hearing concerned with the proposed Specific
Plan; and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to
the adoption of a specific plan have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redlands does
ordain as follows:
1. That Specific Plan as adopted by the Planning Commission in
Resolution No. 543 shall be adopted as follows:
SPECIFIC PLAN N0 . 23
To adopt a Specific Plan of Development for 105
acres of land generally located in the area
between Ford Street, the I-10 Freeway, Wabash
Avenue, and East Sunset Drive North..
2 . That this ordinance shall be in force and take effect as pro-
vided by law.
3 . That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands
Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in this city.

RESOLUTION FOR ADOPTION OF SPECIFIC PLAN NO, 23
W h E R E A S on this 28th day of April, 1981 the Planning Com-mission
of the City of Redlands finds :
A. It is deemed advisable and in the interest of the
public health, safety, and general welfare to
adopt a Specific Plan of Development for 106 acres
of land generally located in the area between Ford
Street, the I-10. Freeway, Wabash. Avenue and East
Sunset Drive North.
B. That all provisions of the California Goverment
Code relating to the adoption of a Specific Plan
have been complied with, including publication of
notice on the 17th day of April, 1931 and the
holding of a public hearing on the 28th day of
April, 1981 .
N O W, T H E R E F O R E, B E I T R E S O L V E Da
A. That pursuant to the previsions of Section 65500
to 65502 inclusive of the California Government
Code, the Planning Commission hereby adopts on
this 28th day of April, 1981 Specific Plan No. 23
as shown on map and described in related text
attached hereto and made a part thereof,
B. That the Planning Commission hereby recommends to
the City Council of the City of Redlands that,
following the required public hearing , the Council
approve and adopt Specific Plan No, 23.
C. That a certified copy of this resolution and
related material hereby adopted by said Commission
shall be transmitted to the City Council.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full , true and correct copy of
a Resolution adopted by the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, in a regular meeting on
the 28th day of April, 1981 and entered in the minutes of said Commission .
