AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOPTING AMENDMENT
NO. 15 TO SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 40
WHEREAS, after holding a duly noticed public hearing, the Planning Commission of the
City of Redlands has reviewed and recommended appeal of Amendment No. 15 to Specific Plan
No. 40 to the City Council of Redlands; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of March, 2000, the City Council held a duly-noticed public
hearing at which all interested persons had the opportunity to present verbal and written testimony
regarding the proposed specific plan amendment; and
WHEREAS,in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act,the City Council
has processed and approved a negative declaration for the specific plan amendment and directed staff
to file a notice of determination with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors for the County of San
Bernardino in accordance with CEQA;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
Section I. That Amendment No. 15 to Specific Plan No. 40 be adopted in the form set out
in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this
ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law,

ordinance was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the

Section EV4.0290 Signs
The provisions of the Redlands Municipal Code governing signs shall apply to
development proposed within the boundaries of this Specific Plan and for any development
located within the City's Sphere of Influence in the East Valley Corridor area requesting
land-use entitlements or other approvals from the City.
The following criteria of the Redlands Municipal Code shall apply to the land use districts
contained in this Specific Plan:
