HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2486_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 2486 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 20 TO SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 40 (EAST VALLEY CORRIDOR SPECIFIC PLAN) AND AMENDING ORDINANCES NOS. 2320, 2321, 2322, 2364, 2432, 2444, 2473 AND 2479. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has reviewed Amendment No. 20 to Specific Plan No. 40 (East Valley Corridor Specific Pian) after holding a public hearing upon such notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, on the 20th day of November, 2001, the City Council held a duly-noticed public hearing concerned with the proposed specific plan amendment; and WHEREAS, a mitigation measure monitoring program has been adopted to ensure compliance during project implementation; and WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the adoption of a specific plan have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN as follows: SECTION ONE: That Amendment No. 20 to Specific Plan No. 40 adopted by the Planning Commission shall be adopted as follows: "Section EV3.0620(h)(6) (h) Requirements and Standards for Automobile Service Stations The following standards shall apply to automobile service stations, gas stations, filling stations, and similar uses: (6) Customer pump areas shall be roofed, and shall comply with the following standards and requirements: The pump island canopies shall be designed to be architecturally compatible with the architectural design of the main building." i SECTION TWO: The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and thereafter, this ordinance shall take effect in accordance with Iaw.
