The City Council of the City of Redlands do ordain as follows:
Section One. That 12'j'ast Citrus Avenue for its entire length is
hereby declared to constitute a boulevard within tl-.e meaning of the
"California Vehicle Act, " aith the exception of the intersection of
said Citrus Avenue with Hishway 119911 at which intersection the traffic
on said Citrus Avenue shall stop, and except for the "four way" stop
Of said Citrus Avenue and Church street as hereinafter set forth.
Section Two. The Chief of Police is hereby authori,-1ed to erect
and maintain stop signs, confor*inG to requiremen ts of the Vehicle
Code of the State of `jalifornie, at the entrance to all streets inter-
secting Citrus Avenue except o1i Highway 119911 at its intersection with
said Citrus Avenue.
Section Three. At the intersection of Church Street with said past
Citrus Avenue, all vehicle traffic is to stop and the said intersection
is hereby declared to constitute a "four way stop", and the Chief of
Police is hereby authorized to erect and maintain stop signs on said
East Citrus Avenue at its intersection with Church Street.
Section Four. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, up-on conviction there-
of shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Fifty Dollars (050-00)
or 'by by imprisonment in the City Jail for not more than five ( 5) days,
or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section Five. Any and all Ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
