The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows: Section One: That the following street is hereby declared to constitute a boulevard within the meaning of the California Vehicle Act and that all vehicle tralfic shall be stopped before entering or crossing said boulevard and street. GARDEN SMEET at its intersection with Franklin Avenue and all vehicle traffic entering the inter- section from the 'Westerly direction and continuing East into Franklin Avenue shall stop before doing so. (Vehicle Traffic travelling in a Northeast direction on Garden Street,, and vehicle traffic travelling in a Southwest direction on Garden Street, need not stop before doing so.) Section Two; The Chief of Police is hereb�., authorized to erect and maintain a 13'11UPt sign conforming to the requirements of the Calif- ornia Vehicle Act, and. Twt),en such a sign is erected every driver of a vehicle shall stop his vehicle accordingly. Section three: That portion of Ordinance No. 976 relative to the Garden Street intersection and 15topl at the above intersection with Franklin Avenue in conflict with the foregoing is hereby repealed. Section Four: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval as provided hy law. Arky person, violating this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof be punished by a. fine not exceeding 325-00 or 5 days in jail or both such fine and imprisonment. Section Five: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, the newspaper hereby designated for that purpose and published and circulated in the City of Redlands.
