HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1024_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 1024 f` ORDINANCE CF INTENTION CLOSING OF A PORTION OF COOK STREET The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of 'Division 91 Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a part of a street in this manner provided therein. SECTION WO: This City Council does hereby declare that a petition has been submitted by the university of Redlands, owners of lands adjoining that part of the street to be vacated, and that it is the intention of this City Council to order the vacation of all that portion of 66 foot CUOK STREET, being a street of 66-foot right-of-gray, in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, lying between the North line of East Colton Avenue and the South line of East Brockton Avenue in the City of Redlands, as shown on the map of the University Tract, as said map is filed in Book 17 of Maps, Page 36 thereof, Official Records of San Bernardino County, State of California, and on file in the Office of the City Clerk. SECTION THREE: The petitioner, University of Redlands, has agreed to pay all costs incident to the vacation of said portion of COOK STREET. SECTION FCS: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of .Public Hearing of all matters concerning the above described proposed street closing, and the time at which any person or agent should present any objection to the aforesaid street vacation, at 2:30 P. M. on the 3rd day of July, 1956, in the regular meeting place of the City Council in the City Hall., Redlands, California.
