AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING
ORDINANCE No, 921, THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE

OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA
The City Council of the City of Redlands does
ordain as follows-.
SECTION' Mt Section I (a) of Ordinance No. 921
is hereby amended to reas as follows2
SECTION' 1. AUTHORITY
(a) The City Council of Redlands hereby
assures control of the design and. improvement of
land subdivisions, recoz°ds of surveys, splits and
divisions of property, as such power is vested in
the City by the provisions of the Su_bdivision Map
Act of the State of California, Division 4,, Part
2, Business and Professions Code of the State of
California, and amendments thereto. It is hereby
made unlawfal. for a .subdivid.er, person, firm,
corporationg partnership or association to sell,
or offer to sell, or lease any lands within. a sub-
division, or property split, until the subdivider,
persong firing corporation, partnership or asso-
ciation shall have first conformed, to the require-
ments of said Subdivision I-Aap Act and the, provisions
of this Ordinance,
SECTION TWO'g Section 4 (d) of Ordinance No. 921
is hereby amended- to read as follows

_IPED, The subdivider,
person, firm, corporation, partnership or asso.-
ciation shall impro-,re,, or agree to improve, as
provided in this Ordinance, all streets, highways,
alloys, ways oz, easements in the subdivision, pro-
perty split or record of survey, as a condition
precedent to acceptance thereof and approval of
the final map, Such improvements shall be in-,
stalled at lines and grades, and in accordance
with the standard specifications approved by the
City En8ineerq and. shall. include-.
SECTION THREE* The City Clerk shall certify to
the passa-e of this Ordinance and shall cause the.

same to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, the newspaper hereby designated for that
purpose,

of Redlands, at a regular meeting thereof held on
