AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING THE TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE SECTION OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: That the Redlands Ordinance Code be amended by adding
Section 67714 (a) and (b) and Section. 67715 (a) and (b) to Article 677
of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance, as follows:
Section 67714. OBSTRUCTING OFFICIAL TRAFFIC SIGNS OR DEVICES
PROHIBITED,
(a) It shall be unlawful for the driver, owner or operator of any
vehicle to park or leave standing any vehicle that blocks or
obstructs any official traffic sign or device.
(b) Any such vehicle must be moved immediately to alleviate the
traffic hazard. Said vehicle can be stored under authority
of the California vehicle Code, Section 22651 b.
Section 67715. PARKING OF MOTOR TRUCKS IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT
PROHIBITED.
(a) It shall be unlawful for the driver, owner or operator of any
commercially licensed motor truck of a load capacity of one
ton or more to park, or cause to be parked, any such vehicle
upon any public street, or alley, within the residential
district of the City of Redlands ; except for the purpose of
loading or unloading of materials, and such parking shall not
extend beyond the time necessary therefor. Said time for
parking other than for the purpose of loading or unloading
shall not exceed two hours .
(b) For the purpose of this Section "capacity" shall mean the
manufacturer' s rated capacity for the said motor truck.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the
City of Redlands .
