HomeMy WebLinkAbout3456RESOLUTION NO 3456 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as follows SECTION ONE The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap- ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate portions of streets in the manner provided therein SECTION TWO, The City Council does hereby declare its inten- tion to order the vacation of Kansas Street described as follows The East 10 feet of the West 40 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of Block 23, BARTON RANCH as per plat recorded in Book 6 of Maps, page 19, records of said. County EXCEPTING therefrom, the North 25 feet thereof SECTION THREE The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of portions of Kansas Street described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare SECTION FOUR The map setting the particulars of the proposed street vacations shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation SECTION FIVE The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the street closings at 7 00 P M on the 18th day of April, 1978, in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California SECTION SIX Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolutionshall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a news- paper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this ATTEST APPROVED FOR FORM s/ Edward F.
