A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter
2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to
vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described as
follows:
That portion of Kendall Street (50 feet wide) between the
south right-of-way of Redlands Boulevard (as it now exists)
and the north right-of-way line of State Street (as it now
exists), said Kendall Street as shown on Pilfer, Pratt, and
Kendall Subdivision recorded in Book 5 of Maps, Page 72 in
the office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino,
State of California.
SECTION THREE- The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portion of a certain street described above is required
by public interest, convenience, safety, and welfare
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of public hearing on the street closing at 7:00 P M on
May 17, 1977, in the regular meeting place of the City Council,
Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX• Within fifteen days after its passage, this reso-
lution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper
of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands,
California.
