RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOL-
LOWS
SECTION ONE. The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap-
ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street des-
cribed in Exhibit A attached hereto.
SECTION THREE The City Council hereby determines that the
vacation of the portion of a certain street described in Exhibit A
is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department
of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 7 00 P.M. on
the 1st day of June, 1976 in the regular meeting place of the City
Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this reso-
lution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper
of general circulation published and circulated in the City of
Redlands, California.

Legal Description for vacation of a portion of Henrietta Street in
the City of Redlands
That portion of Henrietta Street adjoining Block 7 as shown on
Revised Map of Blocks 10 and 11, Smith's Subdivision No. 3, and
Blocks 6 and 7 of Smith's Subdivision No. 4 in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 15 of Maps, Page 88 in the office of the County Recorder,
lying Southeasterly of the following described line
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Henrietta Street
with the centerline of Pepper Way as shown on map of Tract No. 8040
recorded in Book 103 of Maps, Pages 16 and 17 in said County and
State; thence South 48°27'00" East along said centerline of Henrietta
Street, 28.30 feet to an angle point therein; thence South 0°12'00"
East along last said centerline, 330.88 feet to an angle point
therein; thence North 83°47'22" West along said centerline of
Henrietta Street, 101.26 feet; thence South 6°12'38" West, 30.00.
feet to a point on the Southerly right-of-way line of said Henrietta
Street, said point being the True Point of Beginning, said point
also being the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Southerly and
having a radius of 88.00 feet; thence Easterly along last said curve
through a central angle of 10°42'10", 16.44 feet to a point of
tangency; thence South 73°05'12" East, 39.04 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve, concave to the Northwest and having a radius
of 70.00 feet; thence Easterly• and Northerly along last said curve
through a central angle of 117°48'58", 143.94 feet to a point of
tangency; thence North 10°54'l0" West, 39.04 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve, concave Easterly and having a radius of 88.00
feet; thence Northerly along last said curve through a central
angle of 10°42'10", 16.44 feet to a point of tangency with the
Easterly right-of-way line of said Henrietta Street.
