RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS
OF CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter
2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to
vacate portions of streets in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of portions of certain streets described in Ex-
hibit A attached hereto.
SECTION THREE The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portions of certain streets described in Exhibit A is
required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FgUR A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 700 P.M. on the
18th day of November, 1975 in the regular meeting place of the City
Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolu-
tion shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of
general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands,
California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 28th day of October, 1975.

Franklin Avenue in the City of
RESOLUTION NO. 3213
of portions of South Avenue and
Redlands
That portion of Block 1 of Smith's Subdivision Number 3 as recorded
in Book 12 of Maps, Page 33, in the office of the County Recorder,
County of San Bernardino, Sate of California described as follows
Beginning at the intersection of the Northerly line of Tract Number
6742 as recorded in Book 87 of Maps, Pages 67 and 68 in said office,
County and State with the Easterly line of Franklin Avenue, said
point lying 32 feet easterly of the centerline of said Franklin Ave-
nue; thence Northerly along a line parallel with and 32 feet East
(measured at right angles) of the centerline of said Franklin Avenue
to its intersection with a line parallel with and 30 feet South
(measured at right angles) of the centerline of South Avenue; thence
Easterly along last said parallel line to its intersection with the
Northerly prolongation of the West right-of-way line of Ford Street;
thence Southerly along last said prolongation to its intersection
with the South right-of-way line of said South Avenue; thence West-
erly along last said line to its intersection with the East right-
of-way line of said Franklin Avenue; thence Southerly along last
said line to its intersection with said Northerly line of Tract
Number 6742; thence Westerly along last said line to the Point of
Beginning.
