The Cy Council of the City of nedlands dons ordain as follows: SECTION ONE. The Redlanda Ordinance Code shall be amended to add the following soctiona: 4091. The Pollice Department of the City of Redlands shall provide for the care, restitution, sale or destruction of unalaimed property in the possession of said Department. 4092. All unclaimed property in the possesaion of the Police Depart— ment shall be hold by the Department for a period of at least six months. 4093. After being in the possession of the Police Department for at least six luonths, the unclaimed property shall be sold at public auct-ion to the highest bidder. 4094� Notice of the sale of unclaimed property shall be given by tha Chic! of Police at least five days before the ti fixed therefore by publication once in a uawspaper of general circulation published in the City of Redlands and the Coimty of San Baraa.rdinc, SECTION TM Effective datze: This ordinance shall 'be in force and take effect as provided by law.
