This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the Agreement for the Provision of
Professional Services ("Agreement") dated October 15, 2019, by and between the City of
Redlands, a municipal corporation and general law city ("City"), and Huitt-Zollars, Inc
("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 5th day of October, 2021
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement,
specifically to extend the date for termination of the Services to October 15, 2023, and to make
certain administrative changes,
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledge City and Consultant agree as follows
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Section 3 2 of the Agreement, titled "Responsibilities of City," is hereby
amended to read as follows
"3 2 City designates John R Harris, City's Municipal Utilities and Engineering Department
Director, as City's representative with respect to performance of the Services, and such
person shall have the authority to transmit instructions, receive information, interpret and
define City's policies and decisions with respect to performance of the Services "
Section 2 Section 4 2 of the Agreement, titled "Performance of Services," is hereby
amended to read as follows
"4 2 The term of this Agreement shall be for a period of four (4) years commencing as of the
Effective Date, unless terminated earlier as provided herein "
All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this First Amendment
and in effect
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective
as of October 5, 2021
