HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1102_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 1102 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1028 OF SAID CITY, ORDERING CERTAIN CHANGES, DECREASES OR MODIFICATIONS IN THE ACQUISITIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS PROPOSED FOR VEHICLE PARKING DISTRICT NO. 1 OF SAID CITY, AND DETERMINING THAT ALL LANDS IN SAID DISTRICT WILL BE BENEFITED BY THE ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT REMAINING AFTER SUCH DECREASES, CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS . WHEREAS, in proceedings under and pursuant to the Vehicle Parking District Law of 1943, Part 1 of Division 18 of the Streets and Highways Code, this City Council duly adopted Resolution No . 952, pursuant to the authority of Sections 31557 to 31560, inclusive, and Section 31593 of said Streets and Highways Code, declaring the intention of this City Council to make certain changes, decreases or modifications in the acquisitions and improve- ments proposed for Vehicle Parking District Na. 1 of said city, and fixing a time and place for the hearing of protests and objections by this City Council to said pro- posed changes, decreases or modifications; and WHEREAS, notice of intention to make said change,, decreases or modifications was duly published as provided by said Law, and said hearing was duly held at the time and place so fixed, and all continuances thereof, if any, were duly made and ordered; and WHEREAS, at said time and place a hearing was held on said proposed changes, decreases or modifications, and all persons desiring to be heard thereon were fully heard, and all protests and objections, if any, to said proposed changes, decreases or modifications were fully heard, and the same were overruled and denied by order entered on the minutes of this City Council, and said hearing has been duly concluded; and WHEREAS, at said hearing written and oral evidence was received by this City Council, and it is the judgment of this City Council that all of the lands in said Vehicle Parking District No. 1 will be benefited by the acquisition and improvement remaining after making the changes, decreases or modifications proposed by said Resolution No. 952; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redlands, California, DOES ORDAIN as follows: Section 1 . That said Ordinance No . 1028 be and the same is hereby amended by making the following changes, decreases or modifications in the acquisitions and improve- ments ordered by said Ordinance No. 1.028 for said Vehicle Parking District No. 1, to wit: (1) The elimination from said acquisitions of the acquisition of Lots 1 and 2 in Block A of the Subdivision of Block 28 of Redlands ' Second Preliminary Map, as shown on map recorded in Book 4, Page 2, of Maps, records of San Bernardino County. (2) The elimination from said improvements of all improvements on the property described in (l) above . Section 2. That this City Council hereby deter- mines that all of the lands in said Vehicle Parking District No. 1 will be benefited by the acquisition and improvement remaining after making the decreases, changes, or modifica- tions described in Section 1 hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause this ordi nance to be published once in the REDLANDS DAILY FACTS, a newspaper of general circulation published in said city. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its passage . ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this day of June, lQ-58. 7i3.jTpr C?
