HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1739_CCv0001.pdf 0 ORDINANCE NO. 1739 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS A14ENDING ORDINANCES NOS . 1441 AND 1493 AND CHAPTER 59 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE, ADOPTING AND PRE- SCRIBING THE RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE WATER DIVISION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS , CALIFORNIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain as follows: SECTION ONE: That Section 24 of Ordinances Nos. 1441 and 1493 and Section 59121 of the Redlands Ordinance Code are hereby amended to read as follows : § 59121. PREPAYMENT. The Water Division shall require a prepayment from all applicants who have not established credit. Established credit is defined as one year of service with a satisfactory payment record. This prepayment shall be in the amount of $35 04 or a sum equal to three times the cost of the average or estimated monthly service rendered. The prepayment shall be refunded at the end of one year with- out interest, or at an earlier date if the consumer orders the service discontinued, provided that the water balls have been paid in full. SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a daily newspaper hereby designated for that purpose.
