HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1451_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 1451 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1441 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 59 OF THE REDLANDS ORDI- NANCE CODE, ADOPTING AND PRESCRIBING THE RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE WATER DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA. " THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN: That Ordinance No. 1451 of the City of Redlands provides as fol- lows : SECTION ONE: Section Six of Ordinance No. 1441, Chapter 59 of the Redlands Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Section Six. Frontage Charge. Before water shall be supplied to any premises, a charge of $4.00 per foot of the premises adjacent to the main shall be paid as a water main construction charge. In the event the main is for the purpose of serving one side of a street only, the charge shall be $8 .00 per foot. The said charge shall be paid at time of application for service and shall be in addition to the service connection charge. That $3 .00 of each $4.00 in the total amount so collected shall be refunded to the person, or persons, corporation or agency originally paying for said water main to which the connection has been made. See Section 20d for rules governing application for refunds. Any property for single family dwelling that has more than one frontage side shall pay the frontage charge for one half of each frontage side. SECTION TWO: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a daily newspaper hereby designated for that purpose.
