ORDINANCE NO. 1837
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE , ARTICLE 407 , WEAPONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain as follows :
SECTION ONE : That Section 40701 of the Redlands Ordinance Code
be amended to read as follows :
§ 40701 . CARRYING CONCEALED WEAPONS . It is
unlawful for any person within this City to carry concealed ,
upon any street or any public place, any pistol or revolver
without first obtaining a permit to do so from the Chief of
Police .
.1 APPLICATION FEE NOT REFUNDABLE . At
the time of making application for a concealed weapon permit,
a non-returnable fee of three dollars ($3 .00) , in addition
to the State of California costs for the processing, shall
be paid to the City Treasurer to cover the cost . Said fee
shall be paid for both original and renewal applications .

SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.
SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in
this city.

the foregoing ordinance was duly adopted by the City Council at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of March , 1984 , by the
following vote :

Mayor Beswick
