HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_2822_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 2822 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING A REVISED LAND USE ZONING MAP (ZONE CHANGE NO. 449) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Code section 65855, the Planning Com nission of the City of Redlands has reviewed the proposed Zone Change No.449 (the "Zone Change") to change the City's land use zoning ;nap from the A-P (Administrative Professional) District to the A-P-C (Administrative Professional Commercial) District for approximately 2.84 acres located on the northeast corner of Ford Street and Reservoir Road, and after holding a noticed public hearing, made a written recommendation for adoption of the Zone Change to the City Council; and WHEREAS, on June 9, 2015, the Planning Commission held a noticed public hearing on the Zone Change and considered verbal and written testimony of City staff, the applicant for the proposed Zone Change, and testimony from members of the public; and WHEREAS, the Planning Colmnission has recommended to the City Council that the Zone Change be approved; and WHEREAS on June 26, 2015, notice of this City Council's public hearing for the Zone Change was published in the Redlands Daily Facts by the City Cleric; and WHEREAS,on July 7, 2015,the City Council held a public hearing and considered the staff written and oral reports, the recommendation of the Planning Coirunission, the testimony and written evidence submitted by and on behalf of the applicant, and testimony by members of the public; and WHEREAS, following a public hearing on the Zone Change, at which this City Council provided opportunity for public testimony, the City Council determined that adoption of the Zone Change is in the best interests of the public health, safety and general welfare; Section 1. The zoning designation for approximately 2.84 acres located on the northeast corner of Ford Street and Reservoir Road, is hereby changed from the A-P (Administrative Professional) District to the A-P-C (Administrative Professional Commercial) District on the City's Land Use Zoning Map as more particularly shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A." Section 2.
