AN ORDINANCE AMMDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS, BY
ADOPTING AMENMENT NO. 34 TO ORDINANCE NO. 1124.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: That Zoning Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands,
shall be amended by adopting Amencb-nent No. 34 to provide that Section 50.80
of said Ordinance shall be entitled lr�Unor Deviations" and read as follows:
"Section 50.80 - MLnor Deviations
The Commission, as an administrative act, may consider and approve
minor deviations to property development standards at a public meeting
when such deviations are in the public interest, and following post
card notice, not less than five (5) days prior to the meeting date,
to property owners and residents of adjacent properties. Said devia-
tions are limited to the following:
(a) Lot area requirements, yard requirements and lot dimension
requirements may be reduced for an individual lot by not more than
ten (10) per cent of that required in the district where, in the
Connissionts judgment, the shape of the individual building site,
topography of the site., the location of existing building or other
conditions which makes strict compliance impossible without practical
difficulties or personal hardships.
(b) Permit the reconstruction or remodeling of non-conforming buildings
which in the Commission's judgment will bring such buildings and subse-
quent use into greater conformity with the use pernLitted in the district.
SECTION TWO: Before adopting this Ordinance, the City Council held a
public hearing, notice of which was published in the City of Redlands on the
9th day of December., 1960. Ten days before the hearing.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.
SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordi-
nance and cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a
newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this City.
