HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1505_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 1505 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS BY ADOPTING ADDITIONAL LAND USE DISTRICT MAPS AS PART OF THE OFFICIAL LAND USE ZONING MAP AND EFFECTING CHANGES OF ZONE. ZONE CHANGE 152 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1. Public hearings having been held before the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands and the City Council of the City of Redlands pursuant to the California Conservation and Planning Act, the Land Conservation Act, and Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands, the zone districts as shown on Land Use District Map en- titled "City of Redlands Zoning Map", Supplemental Maps No. 152A through 152I attached hereto, are hereby approved, and said Maps are hereby adopted as a part of the Official Land Use Zone Map as pro- vided in Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1000 and on file in the office of the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands. SECTION 2. This ordinance establishes the following changes of zone classifications : (a) From R-2 to R-1 for Brockton Homes County Housing Project; (b) From M-1 to A-1 for parcel adjacent to Inter- state 10 south of Lugonia at Brockton extended; (c) From R-2 to R-2-2000 for five parcels on the north side of Cypress Avenue just west of Redlands Boulevard; (d) From M-1 and no current zone to O and C-4 for three parcels bounded by Redlands Boulevard, the A.T.& S.F. R.R. and Texas Street; (e) From M-1 and M-2 to 0 for area north of the Santa Ana River bluff on property owned by the city and leased to Lockheed Propulsion Company; (f) From A-1 to 0 for four parcels west of Texas Street to the city limits and north of the Santa Ana River bluff in the wash area; (g) From R-2 to R-1 for the mobilehome park on Colton Avenue between Dearborn Street and Wabash Avenue; (h) From R-1 to A-1 for properties east of Texas Street between Pioneer Ave- nue and the Santa Ana Wash; (i) From M-1, M-2 and C-4 to C-M for properties located southerly adjacent to Redlands Boulevard between Kansas and New York Streets, south of Colton Avenue between Kansas and Tennessee Streets, and north and south of Colton between Tennessee and New York Streets . Said changes of zone comply with the Land Conservation Act and are in conformity with the land use element of the General Plan. SECTION 3 . Effective date: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this city.
