AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS BY ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 119 THERETO
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section One : That Zoning Ordinance No . 1000 of the City of
Redlands, Section 40. 20, Parking Space Requirements, and Section
40. 30D, Circulation Within A Parking Area, be hereby amended as
follows :
Section 40.20 : PARKING SPACE REQUIREMENTS
Automobile service station. . . . . Three (3) spaces for each
or motor vehicle repair service bay, plus one space for
shops each employee on largest shift.
Minimum of six (6) spaces .
(Delete motor vehicle repair
from machinery repair shop
category)
Professional, business, or. . . . . One (1) space for each two
administrative offices hundred twenty--five (225) square
(excluding medical and feet of net rentable floor area,
dental) or a minimum of three (3) spaces
for each office.
Food and beverage services . . . . . One (1) space for each three (3)
restaurants , bars, cocktail seats or one (1) space for each
lounges, night clubs and fifty (50) square feet of serving
other similar places area, plus one (1) space for each
dispensing food or two employees on the largest
beverages shift. Parking requirements for
drive--in type uses shall be
determined by staff evaluation
except that a minimum of ten (10)
spaces shall be provided. A
minimum of six (6) additional
onsite stacking spaces shall be
provided for drive-thru service
operations ; drive-thru stacking
spaces shall be completely
independent of storage parking
areas .
Section 40. 30 : PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS
D. CIRCULATION WITHIN A PARKING AREA
1. Minimum lot dimensions shall be provided in accordance with
the angle of the parking spaces they serve:

Section Two: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as
provided by law.
Section Three: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the
City of Redlands.
