ORDINANCE NO. 1552
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO . 1000 OF THE
CITY OF REDLANDS BY ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 125 THERETO
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section One: That Zoning Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of
Redlands, Section 6.00, Definitions, be hereby amended as follows :
Section 6.00 : DEFINITIONS
CARPORT shall mean a permanent roofed structure with not more than two
(2) enclosed sides used or intended to be used for automobile shelter
and storage, Each dwelling unit shall have not less than 180 cubic
feet of enclosed storage space within a carport or other acceptable
structure. Said storage space shall not encroach into required park-
dimensions nor reduce the utility of a parking space.
YARD, FRONT shall mean a yard between the front line of a building and
the front boundary line of the lot on which the building is situated.
A side yard adjacent to a street shall be the same as a front yard.
ZONE shall mean a zoning district shown on the Zone Map to which uni-
form regulations apply.
ZONE, CHANGE OF shall mean the legislative act of removing onr or more
parcels of land from one zone and placing them in another zone on the
Official Zoning Map of the City.
ZONE MAP shall mean the Official Zoning Map of the City of Redlands,
which is a part of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Redlands.
ZONING ORDINANCE, LAND USE ORDINANCE OR ORDINANCE shall mean the Com-
prehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redlands.
Section Two: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
as provided by law.
Section Three: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily
Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the
City of Redlands,

regular meeting thereof on the 6th day of May, 1975 by the following
