HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1644_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 1644 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS BY ADOPTING ADDITIONAL LAND USE DISTRICT MAPS AS PART OF THE OFFICIAL LAND USE ZONING MAP AND EFFECTING CHANGES OF ZONE. ZONE CHANGE 198 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN : SECTION 1. Public hearings having been held before the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands and the City Council of the City of Redlands pursuant to the California Conservation and Planning Act, the Land Conservation Act, and Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands, the zone districts as shown on Land Use District Map entitled "City of Redlands Zoning Map, " Supplemental Map No. 198 attached hereto, are hereby approved, and said Map is hereby adopted as a part of the Offi- cial Land Use Zone Map as provided in Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1000 and on file in the office of the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands. SECTION 2 . This ordinance establishes the following changes of zone classifications : From A-1 (Agriculture) to R-1 (Residential) for property at the northwest corner of Citrus Avenue and Wabash Avenue; from A-1 (Agriculture) , R-1 (Residential) , and E (Educational) to F-P (Flood Plain) for property between right-of-way lines of the County Flood Control-owned channel; from A-1 (Agriculture) to R--1 (Residential) for property located on the north side of the Flood Control channel opposite the terminus of LaSalle Street; from A-1 (Agriculture) to O (Open Land) for property to the north of the Flood Control channel adja- cent to Dearborn Street; and from A-1 (Agriculture) to R-1 (Residential) for property south of the Flood Control channel adjacent to Dearborn Street. Said changes of zone comply with the Land Conservation Act and are in conformity with the land use element of the General Plan. SECTION 3 . Effective date: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION 4.
