HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances_1852_CCv0001.pdf ORDINANCE NO. 1852 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1000 OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS BY ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 171 ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT NO. 171 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does ordain: SECTION ONE: That Ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands, Section 40 . 30 pertaining to Property Development Standards, be amended as follows: D. CIRCULATION WITHIN A PARKING AREA 1. minimum lot dimensions shall be provided in accordance with the angle of the parking spaces they serve: Stall One-Way Two-Way Depth Aisle Width Aisle Width 301 Parking 17. 5 feet 14 feet 20 feet 45' Parking 20 feet 16 feet 20 feet 600 Parking 21 feet 18 feet 22 feet 90' Parking 19 feet 26 feet 26 feet 2 . Stall depths may be reduced up to one foot where the parking space is adjacent to a six-foot or wider side- walk or adjacent to a landscaped planter with an interior diameter of five feet or more. 3 . Wheel stops shall be provided only along side and rear property lines when necessary to protect adjacent property from vehicle encroachment. 4 . Circulation within a parking area with more than one aisle must be such that a car need not enter the street to reach another aisle within the same parking area. 5. Directional signs shall be required to differentiate between entrance and exit access points to the street. SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect as provided by law. SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published once in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation printed and pub- lished in this city.
